"All glory comes from daring to begin"
-Eugene F. Ware
In the entire world nothing would be the way it is if that person or group of people that started a revolution or created an invention hadn't had the courage to try something new or stand up for what they believe in.

"Coming together is a beginning, staying together is a progress, and working together is a success"
- Henry Ford
Civilization start when a group of people come together due to cultural, geographical, or other reasons.  They wouldn't have become what they are today if they hadn't stayed together or kept going through the tough times.  If they all had quit in the middle or the beginning they would have no success in what they had initially started.
"Now this is not the end.  It is not even the beginning of the end.  But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
-Winston Churchill
"The end of the beginning" refers to that maybe this inst the end or the beginning, its the part right after the beginning.  Whatever "it" is will keep on going until it ends or does it even have to end?  It might just keep on going forever.  In this case there is no middle or end and just a beginning and all the events that happen along the way.

“Creativity is a type of learning process where the teacher and pupil are located in the same individual.”
-Arthur Koestler
Most people see teachers as the ones who teach the students and the students as the ones who learn from the teachers.  With creativity everyone is learning and teaching.  Its coming up with idea that are interesting and don't have to do with how smart you are in one particular subject or just in general.  Creativity comes from the soul and is thought up from the individual itself and not the brain or the textbooks.  Genesis is about learning new things and starting new things, its not always following as in learning form teachers all the time.  Its about discovering.
“In creating, the only hard thing’s to begin; a grass blade’s no easier to make than an oak.”
-James Russell Lowell
This quote is saying that no matter how big the object or idea is that you are creating it is always the same thought process and amount of time put into something you are creating.  A painting may take longer than one because it is bigger than the other, but the thought going into it and thinking about what it is you are going to paint should be the same.

“The whole difference between construction and creation is this; that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is constructed; but a thing created is loved before it exists.”
-Charles Dickens
“Thoughts give birth to a creative force that is neither elemental nor sidereal. Thoughts create a new heaven, a new firmament, a new source of energy, from which new arts flow. When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven.”
-Philipus A. Paracelsus

“Man is a creation of desire, not a creation of need.”
-Gaston Bachelard
“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect, but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.”
-Carl Gustav Jung

“Passion is the Genesis of Genius.”

            -Anthony Robbins

In the most important sense a creationist is a person who believes in creation, and that includes people who believe that Genesis is a myth and that creation involved a process called evolution and consumed billions of years.”

There is a strong tendency in explanatory prose to invoke quantities of tension, energy, and whatnot to explain the genesis of pattern. I believe that all such explanations are inappropriate or wrong.”
-Gregory Bateson

No one can really tell the story. Mistakes are made. But there is no mistaking the thoughts in a man's mind. The story is begun”

“For the pre-Darwinian age had come to be regarded as a Dark Age in which men still believed that the book of Genesis was a standard scientific treatise, and that the only additions to it were Galileo's demonstration of Leonardo da Vinci's simple remark that the earth is a moon of the sun, Sir Humphrey Davy's invention of the safety lamp, the discovery of electricity, the application of steam to industrial purposes, and the penny post.”
